Adult Ministries

Adult Ministries

At Hope Church, some of the best ministry happens in ordinary moments.

It happens around tables on Wednesday nights. In Sunday School classrooms after worship. During service projects, campouts, cookouts, and conversations that continue long after church is over.

Adult Ministry at Hope isn’t built around a single program. It’s built around people doing life together while growing in their relationship with Christ.

No matter your age or stage of life, there are opportunities to connect with others and become part of the church family.

Sunday School & Bible Study

One of the easiest ways to get connected at Hope Church is through a Sunday School class.

Our adult classes meet each Sunday after worship and provide a place to study Scripture, ask questions, share life together, and encourage one another. While each class has a general age range, we encourage people to visit different classes and find where they feel most at home.

Current adult classes include:

  • YASS (Young Adult Sunday School) – college students and young adults
  • Anchored – primarily adults in their 30s and 40s
  • Middle Age Class – primarily adults in their 50s
  • Primetime – mostly retirees
  • Ladies Class – women of all ages

Adults also gather throughout the year on Wednesday evenings for Bible studies, testimony nights, special speakers, and other opportunities to learn and grow together.

Fellowship & Community

Life at Hope extends well beyond Sunday mornings.

Throughout the year, you’ll find church members gathering for Men’s Breakfasts, campouts, cookouts, float trips, game nights, service projects, and other events that bring people together.

Our women also gather regularly through the Ladies Mahjong Ministry, one of the most popular groups at Hope Church. Whether you’re an experienced player or have never touched a tile, you’re invited. Free lessons, snacks, door prizes, and a welcoming group of people make it one of the easiest ways to connect with others inside and outside the church.

Some events are planned months in advance. Others happen because friends decide to get together. Both are an important part of what makes Hope feel like home.

Serving Together

Many of the strongest relationships at Hope are built while serving alongside one another.

Whether it’s helping with a church event, serving in the community, supporting a local ministry, or meeting a need within our church family, there are opportunities for adults to use their gifts and make a difference.

As we serve together, we encourage one another, build friendships, and join God in what He is already doing in our community.

At Hope Church, relationships grow around dinner tables, in classrooms, during service projects, and in everyday conversations. That’s part of what makes Hope feel like home.
